FEBRUARY 6TH - Join us this evening for a night of discipleship as the following thoughts are considered. The good news is…God hasn’t given up on the world. He sent Jesus to save us from our sin and despair and to be His hands and feet. Rob Bell asks, “If people only had your life (as the only example to look at) and they were asked the question, ‘Has Jesus risen from the dead?’ how would they answer?” How do we live in such a way that the answer is “Yes!”; a definite “Yes!” Children through grade six will have their own discipleship class on this night.  Dinner will be served from 5:30 – 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall, and this evening will feature our Boy Scout soup supper. The menu includes chili, chicken noodle soup, hot dogs, condiments, and dessert. Cheese pizza will also be available as an alternative. The cost is $3 per person with a $15 maximum per family.

 

FEBRUARY13TH - We will meet together in the worship center on Wednesday, February 13, for a night of encountering prayer stations. We will gather in the auditorium for instructions at 6:30pm and then you will be encouraged to participate in prayer stations that will be set up throughout the room. Elementary age children are encouraged to participate with their family, but preschool age children will have their own prayer focus on this night (nursery will be provided for up to 2 years old). Dinner will be served from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, and the menu will feature BBQ pork, baked beans, fruit and dessert; cheese pizza from Papa John’s will also be available as an alternative. Cost is $3 for adults and $2 for children, with a maximum of $10 per family.

 

FEBRUARY 20TH - We will be meeting at Berrian Elementary School (1327 South 8th. St.) at 6:30 pm for a night of service. There will be multiple opportunities offered this night. We will be painting backdrops, sorting books, cleaning, preparing craft packets, and assembling small bags of candy for the 193 students. In addition, we want to leave plates of cookies for their teachers and staff. Please sign up in the Ministry Centeror contact the office if you are willing to bring homemade cookies with you. FEBRUARY 27TH - Join us Wednesday, February 27th for a family skating party at Scottie’s Skateland from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Scottie’s is located at 8000 Broadway on the right. Admission is free and skate rental is $1.50 for regular skate, and $2.50 for speed skates. You are also welcome to bring your own roller skates or roller blades.
