Our
mission is to complement each family's attempt to lay down a spiritual
foundation that, in God's timing, will lead each child into a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ.
Our Children's Ministry
Values
Kid
- Driven Ministry
We recognize that our kids and adults have
different spiritual and emotional needs. A kid-driven ministry will mean
focusing on the uniqueness of each child, giving them a hands-on opportunity
to know God, to serve God and to be His voice to those around them. We
believe kids are more than special little people. Our kids are growing
daily in their faith. Our kids are hungering and thirsting after God.
Our kids are leaders in this church.
Instruction
We will produce Bible-based and purposeful
curriculum for our children. In every program they will find nuggets of
learning that are relevant and applicable to their personal growth. We
have the desire to capitalize on every teachable moment in these young
lives.
Dynamic Programming
Our kids are living in a fast-paced colorful
world with any-thing and everything volleying for their attention. With
creative and fun programing we bring the Scriptures to life. We are purposefully
programming in a variety of ways to give kids an unforgettable Bible learning
experience.
Service
When
you hear the words..."a little child shall lead them..." who
do you think "them" is? We are developing our kids to be leaders.
We believe that children will learn to lead through more than words. They
must be given the opportunity to explore their gifts and use them by actively
participating in our ministry. By allowing kids to own this ministry,
the result will be Kids' ministry teams being created and more kids becoming
closer to the Lord.
Infant Nursery
0-1 year

A
well-staffed and clean nursery is available for all services. The nurseries
are equipped with baby beds, restrooms, changing supplies, and age-appropriate
toys.
Our
goal is to provide a safe, secure and loving environment for children
where parents feel comfortable leaving their child. We
truly to desire to help children feel a warm sense of belonging to their
church family and to insure each child feels welcome and wanted. The children's
staff is comprised of dedicated men and women who have trusted Christ
as their personal savior and desire to share the love of Jesus Christ
with your children. Our staff are part of Madison
Park Church body and they have been provided with the necessary materials,
curriculum, facilities and proper training to equip them to successfully
accomplish their goals.
Toddler Nursery
1-2 years
Madison Park
Christian Church offers infant nursery during worship and again during
Sunday School. We have adult supervision which provides an average of
1 adult for every 2-3 babies. We play, read, eat, pray and sleep in our
nursery. All our volunteers have been screened and have a special burden
to minister to these precious little ones. Our nursery has been divided
into two sections: an area for the older children who can scoot and are
beginning to walk and an area for smaller children and newborns.
Madison
Park Christian Church offers an exciting, warm, organized, educational
program for your child who is 1-2 years old. During worship, we play,
sing songs, pray, have lesson time, craft time and, most importantly (besides
potty time) we have snack time! These toddlers will know at the end of
worship time that Jesus always has and always will love them. During Sunday
school, we have exercise time, quiet time, singing time, and, on special
occasions, watch a video about Jesus and the Bible.
We
want all parents to know that their children are safe. Therefore, we have
developed a security system that insures that no one but a parent/guardian
can have access to the children. When a child is dropped off, he/she is
assigned a number. The parent/guardian is given a tag with the same number.
The only way a child can be released to an individual is if they present
the tag with the corresponding number. Also, should you need to be contacted
during the service, we can put the child's number up on the monitors in
the auditorium.
