World Serve
Jesus was clear in the gospel of Matthew when he said:
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:18-20).
Madison Park is following that Great Commission through outreach, both local and abroad. In addition to the personal outreach contributions of members and those of various discipleship classes and small groups, nearly 17% of Madison Park’s ministry plan goes directly to missions, including:
- Campus Students for Christ at WIU – Macomb, IL
- Casey & Molly Bell – Taiwan
- Central Christian College – Moberly, MO
- Chris & Kelly McMichael – Kenya
- Dorce Missions (Blessing Hearts) – Haiti
- Horizons – Quincy, IL
- Karen Kuo – Asia
- LaMoine Christian Camp – Tennessee, IL
- Lincoln Christian University & Seminary – Lincoln, IL
- Mark & Meg Burbidge- Zimbabwe
- New Start Rescue Mission – Quincy, IL
- Restoration House – Manchester, NH
- Shiloh Children’s Home – Clarence, MO & Kahoka, MO
- Tyler Nobis – Providence, Rhode Island
Madison Park’s philosophy of world serve is to encourage and support people from Madison Park to serve the world. Our first priority is to provide significant funding for those families.
This portion of our ministry plan also serves to fund a portion of short term mission trips for Madison Park people. Please contact Carol Cramer if you are planning to serve in this capacity.
