Group Pictures

The professors are Robert Douglas from LCCS, John Turner, and me. We are standing in from of the Big Haus.

The group is gathered for the conference picture. Most everyone is there. This is done for every conference. Included are staff, short term workers, professors and students. We are on the patio just outside the dining room in the Big Haus.

A Sunday Morning Worship Experience

The communion table is set for worship. Evgeniy, preacher from Sofia, Bulgaria led the service. My colleague from Lincoln, Robert Douglas gave the devotional thought. I had the privilege of blessing the bread. My friend, Ludmil, preacher from Bulgaria, blessed the bread. Two other preachers joined Evgeniy and Ludwid in passing the bread and cup to the congregation as they came to the front. Following that, Evgeniy served those of us in the front from the single loaf and single cup. It was a moving experience around the table.

A portion of the music was led by the Bulgarians. They led "Shout to the Lord" which was the only tune I recognized. Their voices were beautiful. The picture only shows a portion of the group.

Worship Music Led By Bulgarians

Every Sunday afternoon there is a concert in the park in Baden. Baden is a small city near Vienna where Beethoven, Mozart, Wagner and others came to compose. The symphony orchestra performs for about an hour. On the Sunday of the conference students, staff and short term workers get to come to Baden for the afternoon. A delightful experience, sitting in the park, listening to live classical music in the city where it was composed, reading a book.

Worship is held in the basement of the Leadership Training Center. We are gathering for Sunday morning. Worship is translated intothe languages or the students. We sing, pray, celebrate communion, and hear the word preached.
