Divorce Care

DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone.

DivorceCare support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable DivorceCare resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.

Our group will meet on Thursday nights beginning February 16 at 6:30, you can register for the group here.

Testimonial from a recent Divorce Care group member:
“DivorceCare was not something I really wanted to do…… But since I was crippled by grief and overwhelmingly sad I was searching for anything that could help.  Therefore I committed to the DivorceCare sessions, hoping to find some answers.

It was really the best thing I could have done.  DivorceCare is a source of help that can guide a person to find healing for the pain of bitterness, instability, sadness, anger, depression, and other emotions that one goes through with divorce.  I very strongly recommend DivorceCare to anyone that is already divorced or is going through a divorce.

It is also a much needed support group. If one chooses, he or she can talk about their particular situation and realize there are others that are going through the same difficulties, allowing a person not to feel all alone at a lonely time of life.

At Madison Park Christian Church where DivorceCare is offered the leaders are warm & caring, understanding & compassionate.  One of the leaders is a licenced psychologist which is helpful. Others that help have been through divorce and offer sensible tips and guidance which is very beneficial to those who don’t know what to expect.”
