Wayne Tallcott

Wayne Tallcott

Wayne has been farming in Adams County for many years.  He also runs a sawmill where he cuts and dries lumber.  He is married to Deb and they have three children, Jeremy, Adam, and Rebekah.  In his free time he likes to attend his children’s special events such as concerts and games.  He also enjoys visiting friends and relatives.  He has been a member of Madison Park for fourteen years and has been involved with the Marriage Mentoring program with his wife, Deb since it’s inception in 2002.  His gentle, quiet spirit is an asset to our church family.

Steve Hill

Steve Hill

Steve Hill and his family have attended Madison Park since 1994, and Steve became a member and was immersed into Christ on November 19th, 1995. He has been active in the discipleship/teaching ministry for many years, and served on staff as leader of adult discipleship ministries for five years, from 2004 thru 2009. He has also been active in men’s ministry. Before joining the staff, Steve and his wife Mary helped organize and lead the Assimilation Team ministry.

Steve has worked in financial services since 2004, and is a financial advisor with Benson Financial Group in Hannibal. Besides being a licensed investment advisor, he holds degrees from Kansas University and Culver- Stockton College. He also served as an educator in public, private, and higher education for twenty-five years.

Steve was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and has lived in the tri-state area for the past twenty years. His hobbies include running, golfing, reading, playing tennis, and he is an avid sports fan. Steve and his wife Mary live in Quincy and they have four children, Aaron, Stephanie, Alli, and Morgan, who have all been active in youth and other ministries at Madison Park.

Kirk Hess

Kirk Hess

Kirk Hess is the General Manager of Hess Auto Agency in Quincy, where he has worked for the past 25 years.
He and his wife, Sherry, have four children, a daughter- and son-in-law, and two grandchildren: David, Melissa, Thomas, & Matthew Hess; Shannon & Jordan Slee; Eric Hess; and Kaelyn Hess.

At Madison Park, Kirk is involved as an usher/server, does home communion, is a member of the Men’s Ministry leadership team, has served on the Benevolence team, and is the spokesman for Cornerstone discipleship class.

In his free time, Kirk enjoys fishing, boating, playing guitar and piano, listening to music, and singing karaoke. He recently accompanied his daughter, Shannon, on a mission trip to Morning Glory Christian School in Llano de la Virgen, Guatemala.

Lyn Fross

Lyn Fross

Lyn and his wife, Penny, have three children, Andrew, Jaclyn and Daniel. Lyn enjoys spending time with his family, running and gardening.

He and his family joined Madison Park in 2004 and it has made such an impact on their lives, they wished they had joined in 1993 when they returned to Quincy. He is involved with the Cornerstone Class, Men’s Ministries, Financial Peace University and plays on the church softball team. Lyn is a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch and has been in the financial services industry since 1984.

Pat Houghton

Pat Houghton

Pat Houghton is retired, working part-time at County Market. He and his wife, Donna have five children: daughter, Shelley and her sons, Geoffrey and Nathan; son, Kevin, his wife, Nancie and children, Brittany, Taylor, and Kale; daughter, Missy, her husband, Tim and children, Katlin and Bryce; daughter, Tara and her children, Elizabeth, Zachary, Paige, and Emily; daughter, Suzanne who lives in St. Charles, MO.
Pat is involved as an usher/server/greeter and heads up (with his wife) the Home Communion ministry. He is a member of the Cornerstone Discipleship Class.
In his spare time, he enjoys flower gardening and being outside.

Steve Myers

Steve Myers

Steve Myers married Jackie Robertson on June 4 1966 Undergraduate degree in Industrial arts/Education at WIU 1968. Taught Industrial arts and PE at Quincy Jr. High from the fall of 1968 until the fall of 1985.Received my Masters from Truman State in the Fall of 1985. At that time I became a Work Study coordinator/ counselor for at-risk students,EMH, and TMH students at Quincy Senior High School. Retired in the Fall of 2001. I was in the IL National Guard from 1970-1976.

Jackie and I became members at Madison Park in 1991. We have two sons and their families- Shawn and Anne Myers and daughters Aubrey, Corbin and Olivia; Chase and Chastity Myers and son, Cian. We have a godson, Ryan Burke

Jackie and I graduated from Unity High School in Mendon IL. My hobbies include classic cars, walking and travel.

Mike Duffy

Mike Duffy

Michael Duffy is the CEO of the Good Samaritan Home of Quincy, where he has worked for the past 21 years. He and his wife, Kathy, have three children and a daughter-in-law: Josh and his wife Lindsey, Julie and Jeff. At Madison Park, Mike has been involved in teaching, currently teaching the EverReady class. Mike has served previously as an elder, substitute teacher, usher/server, helped in various ways with the youth, and held small group meetings in their home. In his free time, Mike enjoys fishing, being outdoors and being of service to others.

Terry Smith

Terry Smith is the Purchasing/Safety Manager for ADM Refinery where he has worked for the past 17 years.
He and his wife Cathy were married June, 2010. They have four children, Chad Smith, Shon Stark, Stephanie Springman and Amanda Kirchner, and five grandchildren.
Terry is a member of the Men’s Ministry leadership team, leads our outdoor ministries and helps with ushering/serving.
In his free time Terry enjoys fishing, hunting, and boating.

Jamie Fitzgerald

Jamie Fitzgerald

Jamie and Debbie have been at Madison Park since 2003. They were co-facilitators of the Framework Class on Sunday mornings when it began, and Debbie continues to serve as the primary teacher. Jamie works as a Diabetes Care Specialist in the Springfield/Quincy area. He has served in Men’s G.A.P. ministries and as a communion/offering server on Sunday mornings along with his son. The Fitzgerald’s have 2 children.

Larry Schaffer

Larry Schaffer

Larry and Kathy have been members at Madison Park for over 30 years. They have two grown children. Larry is Director of Information Technology at Niemann Foods. He currently serves in our finance ministry and assists with Financial Peace University.
