Living Proof Live 2008 Simulcast
Mark your calendar for August 1st and 2nd for the fourth nationwide Living Proof Simulcast, featuring internationally-acclaimed Bible teacher Beth Moore - via satellite. This simulcast event is being hosted by Calvary Baptist Church in Hannibal, MO. Sign up at the Women's Ministries counter in the Foyer or by calling the church office. Seating is limited. Cost is $40 ($45 after July1). Registration fee covers materials, registration, noon lunch, and snacks for Friday and Saturday. Information is available at the Women's Ministries Center or email Tammy for more info.

Backpacks 4 Kids
This ministry collects backpacks and supplies for kids in need and gives them out at the Back To School fair in August. The packs should be new and suitable for 2nd graders. Needs include: #2 pencils, scissors, box of 24 crayons, large erasers, rulers, pencil box, folders with pockets, bottle of glue, wide ruled notebooks, glue sticks and wide ruled notebook paper. Please drop off your donations in the plastic boxes marked Backpacks 4 Kids.

Promise Keepers - August 8th and 9th, Peoria Civic Center. The cost is $125.00. July 13th, 2008 is the deadline for registration. Register today by calling the office at (217)222-2529!

Men's Golf Outing - Sunday, August 23 at 2 PM at Westview Golf Course. Cost is $38 and includes the 18 hole fee and a golf cart. Sign up at the Ministry Center.

Student Ministries
CIY, now called MOVE, will be in Carbondale on the week of July 21-25. Note that this year, we are going to Carbondale-2 rather than 1. CIY is for students 8th-12th grades, and is the largest Youth event that MPCC does every year. Cost is $225 for first time attendees, and $250 for returning students. A pre-registration of $75 is needed ASAP. This is not refundable, but is transferable. There will be a $35 late fee for those who register after July 9th. Contact Matt for more information.

Relay for Life
Relay for Life is July 18th from 6pm to 6am at Flinn Stadium.

Camp Registration
Early camp registration is complete. But it's not too late to send your children to camp. Go to www.lamoinechristiancamp.org and register there.
